Cinnamon Balls

Get stuck in and have fun rolling the balls!

Ingredients

  1. 2 eggs whites
  2. 4oz caster sugar
  3. 8oz ground almonds
  4. 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1. Beat the egg whites with an electric whisk until they stand up like mountain peaks.

2. Stir in the sugar, ground almonds and cinnamon and mix well.

3. With damp hands scoop a tablespoon of the mixture into your palm and roll to form a ball.

4. Heat the oven to 160o. Place your cinnamon balls onto baking paper on baking sheet and cook in the oven for 20 mins. They should be firm but soft to the touch.

5. Dust with icing sugar when cool.
